El Chapo

The name itself, El Chapo, is one that most people might know if they follow the news. El Chapo, or Joaquin Guzman, is known as one of the biggest drug lords in history, and he is known for sneaking many many drugs into the United States.

Guzman just recently went on trial at the US federal courthouse and was found guilty on all of his charges. However, it did take a while for Guzman to even get to the point of sitting in the United States courtroom.

This article tells exactly of the famous “slippery” El Chapo. How it took not just one, not two, but many arrests to finally keep a grip on him. He was able to escape from TWO maximum security prisons and each time was just a major defeat for not only the Mexican law enforcement, but the United States FBI whom were involved in trying to capture El Chapo.

In the end the law enforcement was finally able to obtain Guzman and some of his highly dangerous security cartel. The chase was very exhilarating, I am sure, but in the end the head of the snake was cut off. This does not mean that the drug trafficking will stop, but one large step at a time will help in this game.
