Most people know that trees are a sign of life and they do a lot in keeping not just the world clean and healthy, but us and other living things alive.
Trees take in carbon dioxide and then release oxygen, that process and photosynthesis are what keeps us alive. Unfortunately, humans are damaging the system by creating too much carbon dioxide through other means like factories and car exhaust. At the same time we are pumping the atmosphere full of carbon dioxide, we are continuously cutting down forest after forest. This is further pushing us to the edge of no return, cutting down trees and deforestation are not the route we should be taking. Trees do not have the ability to absorb the amount of carbon we are releasing, because we have made it an unfair ratio.
Reading the article Research: Planting Trillions of Trees Could Cancel Out CO2 Emissions shows that trees could positively have an effect on this issue we currently are having with global warming and the major greenhouse gas effect. Planting trees and slowing down deforestation will have a great positive effect on the planet. Like it said in the article, planting somewhere in the trillions of trees could give the possibility of much cleaner air and a fresher atmosphere that we have not had in a very long time.
Sure trillions of trees being planted might not be a reasonable goal at the moment, but starting somewhere with planting trees should definitely be a priority. Reducing our CO2 emissions and planting trees together can have that positive effect on the atmosphere and benefit our health and the living creatures on this planet.
